Meltolit 307 E

Rutile basic electrode with 160% recovery for difficult welded steels and stainless steels against regular steels. Joining and hardsurfacing parts, buffer layers before hardfacing to avoid cracks and welding tool steels, manganese steels etc. Nice welding properties, stable arc, self attaching slag and crack free weld metal.

Meltolit 308L E

Rutile basic electrode for welding stainless steels with an alloy content between 16 to 21% Cr and 8 to 13% Ni, type 304L, stabilised or not. Service temperatures are typically -196°C to about 400°C.

Meltolit 309L E

Rutile-basic electrode for welding stainless steels of similar composition or ferritic stainless steels. Joining stainless steels to mild and low-alloyed steels. Rebuilding and buffering before cladding or hardfacing. Maintenance on « hard-to-weld steels ». Examples: Dissimilar welds between stainless steels type 304, 304L, 316, 316L, 318, 316Ti, 321, 410 or ferritic stainless steels type 1.4713, 1.4724, 1.4742, 3Cr12, to non or low alloyed CMn steels, for service temperatures up to 400°C.

Meltolit 309LMo

Rutile electrode for welding stainless steels of similar composition or ferritic stainless steels. Joining stainless steels to mild and low-alloyed steels. Rebuilding and buffering before cladding or hardfacing. Maintenance on « hard-to-weld steels ». Examples:Dissimilar welds between stainless CrNiMo stainless steels and mild or low alloyed CMn steels, for service temperatures up to 350°C. Superior resistance to dilution when compared to 309L deposits because of its higher alloy and ferrite content. Compared to the AWS 312 weldments it benefits from an improved strength/ ductility balance.

Meltolit 309LH E

Rutile-Basic syntetic electrode with high recovery (160%). Used for dissimilar welds and for buffer layer before hardfacing. 

Meltolit 310 E

Rutile, basic electrode resistant to oxidation and scaling up to 1100°C. It is suitable for welding cast or wrought stainless steels of similar composition and heat resistant ferritic stainless steels.

Meltolit 312 E

Rutile basic electrode with high alloy content and high ferrite ratio which allow it to benefit from extreme tolerance to hot cracking and to dilution with a wide range of base materials. Preheat can often be avoided or minimised. The weld deposit workhardens and gives good wear and friction resistance. Examples: Welding stainless steels of similar composition or ferritic stainless steels. Joining stainless steels to mild and low-alloyed steels. Buffer layers before hardsurfacing. Maintenance on « hard-to-weld steels ». Welding high carbon hardenable steels, of known or unknown composition and generally most of steels subject to cracking such as tool steels, manganese steels, spring steels and high-speed steels. Often spoken of as 29/9 alloy.

Meltolit 316L E

Rutile AC/DC electrode intended for welding the low carbon, molybdenum alloyed, acid resisting austenitic stainless steels of similar composition (316L). Operability is excellent with a smooth low spatter arc producing an exceptionally good weld bead appearance. Fillet welds have a smooth surface, slightly concave profile with excellent toe line blend-in and a self-releasing slag. The electrode is all positional up to and including 3.25 mm diameter. Suitable for welding normal carbon 316 type grades and also Nb or Ti stabilised steels, provided service temperatures are below 400 °C.

Meltolit 316LH E

High recovery electrode for welding the low carbon, molybdenum alloyed, acid resisting austenitic stainless steels of similar composition (316L). Operability is excellent with a smooth low spatter arc producing an exceptionally good weld bead appearance. Fillet welds have a smooth surface, slightly concave profile with excellent toe line blend-in and a self-releasing slag. The electrode is all positional up to and including 3.25 mm diameter. Suitable for welding normal carbon 316 type grades and also Nb or Ti stabilised steels, provided service temperatures are below 400 °C.

Meltolit 316L VD E

All positional rutile electrode designed specially for welding thin walled (down to 1.5 mm) pipelines found in the chemical process and papermaking industries, where it offers considerably higher productivity than manual TIG. With its exceptionally good arc stability, weld pool control and restriking characteristics it is highly suitable for the most demanding vertical and overhead welding applications in fixed pipework and is ideal for cramped and difficult site conditions. Also recommended for root runs and butt welds in general fabrication of molybdenum alloyed stainless steels in all material thicknesses.

Meltolit 317L E

For austenitic stainless steels with an increase of Mo compared to 316L that increases the pitting resistance. Used for marine applications, paper and pulp, chemical industry etc.

Meltolit 318 E

Suitable for welding stabilised stainless steels with alloy content between 16 - 21% Cr, 6 -13% Ni and up to 3% Mo. It is also used for corrosion resistant weld overlays.

Meltolit 347 E

Suitable for welding stabilised stainless steels exposed to high temperatures containing 16 to 21% Cr and 8 to 13% Ni.

Meltolit 253 E

Basic coated electrode with an austenitic stainless steel deposit resisting to scaling and oxidation up to 1000°C. For ovens, thermal equipment and chemical applications.

Meltolit 383 E

Stainless alloy for welding of Cu-alloyed stainless steels. Resistance to corrosion, pitting and stress corrosion in acid and alkaline environments.

Meltolit 385 E (904L)

For welding fully austenitic steels with low carbon. Very good corrosion resistance against acid. Typical applications: tanks, pipe systems, off shore etc that need to withstand phosphorus, sulphate and other similar environments.

Meltolit 410 E

Used for welding of martenitic and ferritic 13% Cr-steels like 410, 420, 403, 405 or 416. Used for hardfacing where protection against suplphurous up to 900°C, steam, erosion and abrasion is necessary. The alloy has a higher deposit and used with benefit in valves, turbine parts, pipings in refineries.

Meltolit 410NiMo E

Used for welding of martenitic and ferritic 13% Cr 0,5%Mo-steels like 410NiMo. Used for hardfacing against cavitation, steam and corrosion. Used with benefit in valves, turbine parts, pipings in refineries.

Meltolit Duplex E

Rutile stainless steel electrode for welding wrought, forged or cast duplex stainless steels for service in the as-welded condition
Heterogeneous welding between duplex stainless steels and other stainless and mild or low alloyed steels. Especially produced for position welding.

Meltolit Super-Duplex E

Rutile stainless electrode for welding super-duplex steel grades. Heterogeneous welding between superduplex stainless steels and other stainless and mild or low alloyed steels. Typical steels to be welded: 1.4507, 1.4410, 1.4468, 1.4515, 1.4517, 1.4501
