Silver-phosphorus-copper alloys

 Silver phosphor copper alloys are used for brazing copper to copper and brass to copper. The alloy includes phosphorus so no extra flux is needed unless you braze copper to brass. HVAC approved products where the higher silver content gives you extra fluidity and lower working temperature. Swedish norm is 5% silver, Norway has regulations for 15% and Germany is using none as standard. Ask us for more information.

Meltolit Nr 1

Copper-phosphorus alloy primarily used for brazing of copper pipes and HVAC connections. Meltolit Nr 1 can be used for brazing in copper, brass and in some extent steel. When brazing brass or copper to brass you need a separate flux, Meltolit 770.

Meltolit Nr 850

Copper-phosphorus alloy primarily used for brazing of copper pipes and HVAC connections. Meltolit Nr 1 can be used for brazing in copper, brass and in some extent steel. For larger gaps.

Meltolit 2P

Copper alloy with 2% silver and 6% phosphor primarily used for brazing of copper pipes and HVAC connections. Meltolit 2P can be used for brazing in copper, brass and in some extent steel. Its composition provides high ductility, excellent fluidity, low melting point and excellent resistance to vibration. When brazing brass or copper to brass you need a separate flux, Meltolit 770.

Meltolit 5P

Copper alloy with 5% silver and 6% phosphor primarily used for brazing of copper pipes and HVAC connections. Meltolit 5P can be used for brazing in copper, brass and in some extent steel. Its composition provides high ductility, excellent fluidity, low melting point and excellent resistance to vibration. When brazing brass or copper to brass you need a separate flux, Meltolit 770.

Meltolit 5P+

Copper alloy with 5% silver and 6% phosphor primarily used for brazing of copper pipes and HVAC connections. Meltolit 5P can be used for brazing in copper, brass and in some extent steel. Its composition provides high ductility, excellent fluidity, low melting point and excellent resistance to vibration. When brazing brass or copper to brass you need a separate flux, Meltolit 770.. Addition of phosphorus compared to 5P which lowers its melting point and increases the fluidity. No sparking alloy.

Meltolit 15P

Copper alloy with 15% silver and 5% phosphor primarily used for brazing of copper pipes and HVAC connections. Meltolit 15P can be used for brazing in copper, brass and in some extent steel. Its composition provides high ductility, excellent fluidity, low melting point and excellent resistance to vibration. When brazing brass or copper to brass you need a separate flux, Meltolit 770.

Meltolit 18P

Highest silver content of all CuP alloys. Used for brazing of copper and copper-brass pipes in combustible gas installations as well as for delicate work at low
temperature.
